I’ve been working in internal communications since 2002. In 2016 I made the leap to freelance, developing and delivering strategic internal communications for clients such as Deloitte, Lloyds Banking Group, Upfield, GSK, National Grid and Currys. Before that, I was an award-winning consultant and leader at a number of global communications agencies, including Ogilvy and H+K Strategies where I re-named, re-launched and led the People + Purpose practice to its most successful period in recent history, working with clients such as Novartis, Mars Petcare, Pfizer, Danone and the InterContinental Hotels Group. I have a background in theatre, film and TV, so as well as being a part-time playwright, I enjoy using creative techniques from that world to create meaningful and engaging workplace experiences.
